Chocolate Almond Ingredient Notes
The best thing about this recipe is that it is only 4 ingredients! Many of these ingredients you already have in your fridge or pantry! For this sweet, and flavorful recipe you will need the following ingredients:

- Almonds-I recommend using unsalted almonds for this recipe since we are adding sea salt, but feel free to skip the sea salt if you already have salted almonds at home.
- Chocolate chips-Use your favorite chocolate chips for this recipe! I used semi-sweet chocolate chips and they were perfect!
- Coconut oil-When using coconut oil for cooking, or baking, I prefer to use unrefined coconut oil due to the health benefits and overall flavor.
- Sea salt-Sea salt is a must and takes this recipe over the top! If you do not have sea salt, feel free to use regular salt, just a smaller amount.
See recipe card for additional details and quantities.

Use the following step-by-step instructions for how to make this delicious chocolate covered almond recipe:

Add chocolate chips and coconut oil to a small microwave-safe bowl. Melt in the microwave.

Add a few almonds at a time into melted chocolate. Use a fork to coat the almonds in the chocolate. Then use the fork to remove the almonds, allowing the excess chocolate to drip off.

Then place the chocolate coated almonds onto the parchment-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with sea salt.

Freeze for 5 minutes. Then remove from freezer and enjoy!
Hint: Don't skip the sea salt with this recipe. The sea salt brings out the sweet flavor of the chocolate but also flavors the unsalted almonds! The perfect balance between sweet, salty, and crunchy!
