Directions for cupcakes
Preheat Oven
Before you can start baking your cupcakes, you must preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C). This is important because it ensures that the cupcakes bake evenly and are cooked through.
Once the oven has reached the desired temperature, you can line a cupcake pan with liners and begin making the batter.
Make the Batter
Making the batter for your cupcakes is easy and only requires a few ingredients. In a medium bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, oil, extract, and water and mix until combined.
Once all of the ingredients are fully incorporated, you can then scoop them into your prepared cupcake liners using a medium ice cream scoop. Fill each liner about 3/4 of the way full before placing them in your preheated oven to bake.
Bake Cupcakes
Dirt and worms cupcakes are an unexpected treat that will make everyone smile. This delicious dessert is surprisingly easy to make but equally impressive.
Tastes like a classic homemade vanilla cupcake. After baking for 21 minutes, pull out your cupcakes from the oven and set them aside to cool while you make your frosting.

Make Frosting
Making frosting for your cupcakes is also easy and only requires a few ingredients. In a standing mixer, combine butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and heavy whipping cream, and mix on medium speed until stiff peaks form.
If you find that your frosting is too soft after mixing, add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of powdered sugar until you achieve a thick frosting that will hold its shape when piped onto your cooled cupcakes.
Pipe Frosting
Once you have made your frosting, it’s time to pipe it onto each of your cooled cupcakes!

To do this, transfer your frosting into a piping bag fitted with a star tip so that when piped onto each cupcake, it creates an attractive swirl pattern on top!

Add Toppings
Now that all of our cupcakes are frosted, we can add some delicious toppings such as Oreo cookie crumbles or gummy worms!
Sprinkle some Oreo cookie crumbles over each of our frosted cupcakes or randomly place some gummy worms to give them an extra touch!
