Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Any mushroom can technically be used in pasta. However, the best type of mushroom to use is typically a more meatier mushroom that can stand up to cooking, like a portobello mushroom or oyster mushroom.
The meatiest tasting mushroom is by far the portobello mushroom. A portobello mushroom is thick, savory, flavorful, and perfect for cooking, or baking, for long periods of time.
The secrets to the perfect pasta is: Seasoning your pasta water generously with salt to season your pasta. Do not add your pasta until the water is boiling. Lastly, remove your pasta from water when it is cooked to the perfect al dente texture.
