Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
You can bake bacon between 350 and 420 degrees Fahrenheit. The only difference is the amount of time it will take to bake your bacon to your preferred temperature. In this recipe, I bake bacon at 420 degrees for 16-20 minutes for a quick, crispy, delicious breakfast.
Yes, you can bake bacon in a glass pan. However, baking food in a glass pan typically takes longer to attain that crispy, rendered texture. It is preferred to use metal, or aluminum baking sheets for even cooking, increased surface area, and crispy textures.
In order to make the most perfect baked bacon without burning it, it is important to rotate your baking sheet halfway through. This encourages even cooking, rendered fat, and a crispy texture.
