Gordon Ramsay is preparing to reopen his Miami Beach restaurant with a new name and a revised menu. This time, the focus will be on premium steaks, along with Japanese- and Korean-inspired dishes that reflect the Lucky Cat concept.
The restaurant, called Lucky Cat Steak, is scheduled to open on November 25, 2026, at 119 Washington Avenue in Miami Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood.
The original Lucky Cat Miami opened in February 2024 and closed in August 2025, so the upcoming launch represents a reopening of the existing location rather than a move to a different address.
The revised menu has been developed by Ramsay and Lucky Cat executive head chef Michael Howells. Here are eight announced food and drink offerings that provide an early look at the new restaurant.
Premium Steaks Become the Main Attraction

Robata-grilled beef is central to the Lucky Cat Steak concept. The announced selection includes USDA Prime, Texas Akaushi, Japanese A5 Miyazaki, and Australian Blackmore Wagyu.
These beef offerings will be prepared using a robata grill, bringing the restaurant’s steak-focused direction together with a Japanese cooking method. The announced selection includes several beef categories and sources, although individual cuts have not yet been identified.
Wagyu Maki and Scallop Sashimi
Wagyu maki and scallop sashimi are among the sushi and raw-bar offerings Lucky Cat Steak announced. Their inclusion confirms that the revised menu will feature dishes beyond the new beef program.
Both items appear in the restaurant’s opening coverage, although detailed preparation descriptions have not been released. No information has been confirmed about the number of pieces per order, accompanying sauces, or the scallops’ origin.
Tuna and Jalapeño Crispy Rice
Tuna and jalapeño crispy rice is another dish included in the restaurant’s announced selection. It will form part of the small-plate offerings alongside sushi, sashimi, and other preparations.
The dish’s confirmed name identifies tuna, jalapeño, and crispy rice, but the full ingredient list has not been released. No verified details are available on the tuna cut, accompanying sauce, or serving size.
Wagyu Bulgogi Tacos
Wagyu bulgogi tacos are part of the planned menu and reflect the Korean-Latin American influences described in the restaurant’s opening announcement.
The dish combines a bulgogi-style beef preparation with a taco format. It is one of the specifically named dishes in the updated Lucky Cat Steak lineup.
However, the announcement doesn’t specify the number of tacos per serving, tortilla type, marinade ingredients, or the precise Wagyu source.

Gordon’s Fried Chicken Returns in a Different Form
A prawn-based reworking of Gordon’s Fried Chicken is another announced addition to the new menu. The updated preparation replaces the original dish’s chicken with prawns.
Opening coverage has identified the dish as GFP, although its final menu name has not been confirmed. Describing it as a prawn-based version of Gordon’s Fried Chicken avoids assuming that the reported abbreviation will be used when the restaurant opens.
Korean-Inspired Dishes Add More Menu Options
Crispy tofu bibimbap, freshly rolled kimbap, and yukhoe are among the Korean-inspired dishes Lucky Cat Steak announced. These offerings expand the planned selection beyond steak, sushi, and tacos.
The three dishes have been identified by name in reopening coverage, but their complete ingredient lists and portions remain unconfirmed. The bibimbap is described as featuring crispy tofu, while the kimbap is described as freshly rolled.
Croquettes Appear in the Opening Plans
Croquettes have also been mentioned among the dishes expected at Lucky Cat Steak. However, the descriptions in the opening coverage do not fully agree.
One report identifies black cod croquettes, while another refers to kimchi croquettes. The available information does not establish whether these are two separate dishes or differing descriptions of one menu item.
For now, the filling and final preparation remain unconfirmed.
Cocktails Include Margaritas and a Dice-Selected Negroni
The Okinawa margarita, Spicy Passion Fruit and Mango Margarita, and Lucky Negroni are among the cocktails announced for Lucky Cat Steak.
The Okinawa margarita is described as containing kumquat, Thai basil, and salted shiso air. The Spicy Passion Fruit and Mango Margarita is also listed among the planned drinks, although its full recipe has not been provided.
The Lucky Negroni will have guests roll dice to choose ingredients from six gins, six bitters, and six vermouths.
These cocktails are part of the restaurant’s plans for a late-night lounge. Individual prices, serving sizes, and complete ingredient specifications have not been confirmed.
What to Know About the November Opening
Lucky Cat Steak is expected to have 152 seats, with dinner service planned for Wednesday through Saturday. The restaurant also intends to operate a late-night lounge.
Its official website invites interested diners to join a waitlist for reservation information. Reservations are expected through OpenTable and Resy, although active booking availability had not been confirmed as of October 26, 2026.
The restaurant plans to open on November 25, but opening schedules can change. Individual menu prices, portion sizes, and some preparation details are still awaiting confirmation.
For now, the announced menu establishes the main change: Ramsay’s former Lucky Cat Miami location is returning with a steak-focused identity while retaining a selection of Asian-inspired dishes and cocktails.
