Cadbury Mini Eggs Bars Ingredients:
- Butter - You can use butter or margarine. In my opinion, there is no difference in taste.
- Mini marshmallows - Use regular white or mini marshmallows or pastel-colored ones.
- Box rice Chex - Or substitute one of the variations listed below.
- Funfetti baking chips (Pillsbury)—If you have trouble finding these, you can always use white chocolate baking chips.
- Cadbury mini chocolate eggs are my family's favorite, so there is no substitute for these.
- Rainbow sprinkles - Rainbow sprinkles make the Easter cereal bars recipe look festive and spring-like.
Equipment
- Large Stockpot—I like a large one because it gives me plenty of room for mixing and stirring.
- Rubber spatula - Rubber spatulas with the shape of a spoon are great for mixing.
- 9x13 Baking dish - You can use a glass or metal baking dish.
- Large knife—A sharp butcher-type knife is great for this, but it's best when you have an entire set to choose from.
- Airtight container - A flat, air-tight container is best so you don't have to layer them.
- Parchment paper - Use to place in between layers when storing or freezing the Cadbury Mini Eggs bars.

How to Make Easter Cereal Bars
Place the butter in a large stockpot and cook over medium-low heat.
When the butter is melted, add the marshmallows and stir to combine.
Allow the marshmallows to melt, then stir in the Funfetti chips.
Remove the pan from heat and carefully stir in the Chex, making sure all the cereal pieces are fully coated.
Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 baking dish and top with sprinkles and chocolate eggs.
Press the cereal mixture firmly into the pan, then allow it to cool completely, at least 1 hour.
Cut into 15 bars before serving.

How to Store Easter Cereal Bars Recipe
Please do not put them in the fridge. Instead, store them in an airtight container in your pantry or on the counter.
You can also freeze them by placing parchment paper between the layers and storing them for 3-4 months.
Remove them from the freezer the night before you use them.
