Halloween is bringing a different kind of collaboration to Houston’s burger scene: two smashed patties, a pretzel bun, and a connection to the imagined worlds inside Meow Wolf.
Trill Burgers, the restaurant brand co-founded by rapper Bun B, is teaming up with Meow Wolf Houston for the limited-time Trill Wolf Burger. The partnership extends beyond the sandwich to illustrated packaging, restaurant art events, and a separate menu item inside the immersive attraction.
The burger is scheduled to launch Saturday, October 31, at Trill Burgers’ Montrose, Spring, Missouri City and Westheimer locations. Its announced run continues through November 14.
The collaboration connects a Houston burger business with an arts destination celebrating its second anniversary. Customers can participate in several ways, from ordering at the restaurant to live art and an exhibition visit.

A Smashburger With a Different Set of Toppings
The Trill Wolf Burger combines two smashed patties with American cheese, jalapeño ranch, fried onion strings, and Cowboix Hevvven Dijon slaw, served on a pretzel bun.
The Dijon slaw takes its name from Cowboix Hevvven, the food-and-drink space inside Meow Wolf Houston’s Radio Tave exhibition.
The combination keeps the burger’s basic structure recognizable while introducing toppings developed for the collaboration. Fried onion strings, jalapeño ranch and Dijon slaw join the patties and cheese, with a pretzel bun completing the announced build.
Halloween Begins the Limited-Time Run
The restaurant’s Trill Wolf Burger announcement identifies October 31 through November 14 as the availability window at all four participating locations.
That gives the release a Halloween opening without making it a one-night offering.
Customers do not need to fit the burger into October 31 plans to try it during its announced run. The following two weeks also include artist appearances at the Missouri City and Spring restaurants.
The four-location rollout spreads the release across the Houston area rather than reserving it for a single restaurant.
Customers will need slightly different plans for the burger and the art events. The menu item is scheduled for all four locations, while the artist appearances are tied to specific restaurants and dates.
Meow Wolf’s companion food offering has a separate schedule, beginning after Halloween and continuing beyond the burger’s announced end.

A Companion Hot Dog Arrives in November
The partnership continues at Cowboix Heaven with the Trill Billy, a Trill Burgers-inspired hot dog.
It will be available November 9 and will remain on the menu through November 25.
That overlaps with the Trill Wolf Burger from November 9 through November 14. It also gives the Meow Wolf offering a later finish than the restaurant release.
The two items are part of the same collaboration, but they’re served in different places.
The burger is scheduled for the four participating Trill Burgers restaurants. The hot dog is planned for Cowboix Hevvven inside Meow Wolf Houston.
For anyone who wants to try both, the overlapping dates give you a window to plan. An earlier Halloween visit to Trill Burgers would come before the hot dog’s scheduled debut.

Houston Artists Bring the Partnership Into the Restaurants
Two artist appearances add an in-person component to the collaboration beyond the menu.
According to the Houston Chronicle’s report on the partnership, visual artist Shokka is scheduled to hold a live activation at the Missouri City Trill Burgers at noon on November 6.
Artist Neon Thrash is scheduled to appear at the Spring location at noon on November 8.
Both artists are expected to create original artwork, with opportunities for guests to make pieces to take home.
These appearances bring the arts collaboration into restaurant settings. Customers attending on the scheduled dates can encounter artists at work alongside the food release.
The events also give the partnership a different pace from an ordinary menu launch. Instead of ending with an order, a visit can include watching a piece develop or taking part in an art-making activity.
Anyone planning around an appearance should check the latest details for that specific location before leaving.
Illustrated Packaging Adds Another Connection
The Trill Wolf Burger is also scheduled to come in a custom combo box featuring Burger Vandal, a character created for the collaboration.
The illustration gives the release a visual identity that customers can encounter at the restaurant, whether or not they have visited Meow Wolf.
Food, packaging, and live art provide distinct parts of the project. One begins with the burger’s ingredients, another with a character on the box, and another with artists working in person.
Together, they give the collaboration a presence beyond a shared name on a menu.
For Houston customers, that creates several ways to discover the partnership. Some may come because they follow Bun B or Trill Burgers. Others may recognize Meow Wolf, Radio Tave or the participating artists.
The same release brings those interests together without requiring every visitor to arrive for the same reason.
What to Know Before Going
The Trill Wolf Burger runs October 31 through November 14 at the Montrose, Spring, Missouri City, and Westheimer Trill Burgers locations. Shokka’s appearance is planned for noon on November 6 in Missouri City, followed by Neon Thrash at noon on November 8 in Spring.
At Meow Wolf Houston, the Trill Billy hot dog is scheduled for November 9 through November 25 at Cowboix Hevvven. Check the businesses’ latest updates before making a special trip, since menu availability and event plans can change.
The collaboration offers a burger, a restaurant art event, and a food stop within an immersive exhibition, each serving as a different starting point. When a meal becomes an introduction to another part of Houston’s creative community, what might you discover beyond your usual order?
