Jack in the Box Announces Avengers: Doomsday Dipping Box With Returning Snacks and Collectible Magnets

The Avengers are heading for the drive-thru, and this time, assembling the team involves popcorn chicken, curly fries, and a mystery dipping sauce.

Jack in the Box has announced a limited-time Avengers: Doomsday collaboration that brings several snacks together in one movie-themed meal. The Doomsday Dipping Box launches November 5 at participating restaurants nationwide, ahead of the Marvel Studios film’s December release.

Announced October 27, the promotion combines food, custom packaging, and a collectible magnet. It also brings back popcorn chicken and mozzarella sticks, with separate ordering options for customers who want the snacks without the full themed assortment.

The distinction matters: the box is new, but not everything inside it is making its debut.

What Comes in the Doomsday Dipping Box

According to Jack in the Box’s October 27 announcement, the box includes popcorn chicken, two mozzarella sticks, two tacos, seasoned curly fries, and a drink.

Three themed dipping sauces accompany the food: Assemble Sauce, Mutant Marinara, and Fantastic Buttermilk Ranch.

The assortment arrives in custom Avengers: Doomsday packaging, with one randomly selected collectible magnet included while supplies last.

Rather than build the collaboration around a burger or sandwich, Jack in the Box has put several snack formats into the same order. Bite-sized chicken shares space with cheese sticks, tacos, and the chain’s curled fries.

That gives the promotion two identities. It is a mixed-food meal for customers interested in the assortment and a movie tie-in for those drawn to the packaging and collectible.

Neither part requires customers to order the returning snacks exclusively through the themed box.

A New Mystery Sauce Joins Two Familiar Options

The sauce names give the collaboration much of its Marvel personality. However, they do not represent three new recipes.

Assemble Sauce is the new addition. Jack in the Box describes it as a mystery sauce, leaving its flavor undisclosed in the announcement.

For now, the name is part of the introduction rather than a guide to what it tastes like. Customers looking for a specific flavor profile will have to wait for more information or decide whether to try it once the promotion begins.

Mutant Marinara is a returning limited-time marinara sauce. Fantastic Buttermilk Ranch is the chain’s classic buttermilk ranch with a themed name.

The lineup therefore combines one new sauce, one returning sauce, and an established option.

That distinction keeps the menu news in perspective. The collaboration changes the meal’s presentation while adding something new alongside recognizable accompaniments.

With three sauces and several foods in the box, customers can choose their own pairings instead of following a fixed combination.

Popcorn Chicken Returns in More Than One Format

Popcorn chicken’s return extends beyond the Avengers packaging.

Jack in the Box says the bite-sized chicken will also be available in Small and Big Boxes and as a combo meal. Those alternatives let customers order it without choosing the Doomsday assortment.

For someone interested primarily in the chicken, the separate formats may be the more relevant part of the announcement.

For someone drawn to the collaboration, the themed box combines it with tacos, mozzarella sticks, fries, sauces, and the magnet.

The two developments belong together, but they are not interchangeable. Jack in the Box is launching a new promotional meal while bringing an existing item back to its menu.

Keeping them separate also makes the release easier to navigate. Customers can choose the chicken itself or the broader movie-themed combination.

Mozzarella Sticks Also Get Separate Orders

Mozzarella sticks are returning alongside popcorn chicken, both in the themed meal and as a standalone order.

The Doomsday Dipping Box includes two sticks. Separate orders will contain four or six and come with Mutant Marinara.

That gives the cheese snack a role beyond filling out the collaboration box. Customers who want a dedicated order can choose that option instead of buying the entire assortment.

The quantity difference is worth noting when comparing the choices. Two sticks are part of the mixed meal, while the individual orders offer a different format.

Together, the chicken and mozzarella-stick returns form the food side of the announcement. The Marvel connection adds packaging, themed sauces, and a collectible, but customers can still approach the release as a straightforward snack comeback.

One Magnet per Box, With Eight Designs Available

The collectible portion comes with an important distinction: eight designs are available, but each box includes only one randomly selected magnet.

The magnets are blind-bagged and included while supplies last. Ordering the meal doesn’t mean you’ll receive the complete collection or choose a particular design.

They also connect like puzzle pieces, allowing the eight designs to form a larger arrangement.

PEOPLE’s October 27 report on the collaboration confirms the connecting format and the one-magnet-per-box offer.

For collectors, that connection turns the individual pieces into a set. For other customers, the magnet can be a keepsake from the meal.

Either way, the terms are straightforward: each box includes one random selection, subject to availability. The eight-design lineup describes the collection as a whole, not a single order.

The Restaurant Launch Comes Before the Movie

Marvel lists Avengers: Doomsday’s theatrical release for December 18, 2026.

The November 5 restaurant launch places the promotion ahead of the film, giving the collaboration a place in the lead-up to its theatrical arrival.

The connection appears throughout the order, from the custom box to the sauce names and magnets. Customers do not need to follow the movie’s storyline to understand what comes with the meal.

That is the balance of the release: a recognizable assortment of Jack in the Box foods presented through an upcoming entertainment event.

The mystery sauce adds a new menu item, the returning snacks offer familiar choices, and the magnet extends the promotion beyond the packaging.

When and Where to Find the Box

The Doomsday Dipping Box is scheduled to launch November 5 at participating Jack in the Box restaurants nationwide. The company also lists ordering through its app and website.

The offer is limited-time and while supplies last. No definite ending date was provided in the announcement.

Before making a special trip for the themed meal or a collectible, check the selected restaurant’s menu and availability.

The choice ultimately comes down to what interests you: the full collaboration or the returning snacks ordered separately.

When a movie promotion reaches the drive-thru, what makes it memorable for you: a familiar food returning, an unfamiliar sauce, or a keepsake that lasts beyond the meal?
